Welcome to the ETSU scholarship search and application.
You will begin the scholarship application process with a search to help you determine the ETSU scholarships for which you are eligible. Answer the questions and then click the submit button. You will first retrieve a list of scholarships for which you may wish to apply.
At the end of the search you can apply for all of the general scholarships using the online form. You can NOT use this form to apply for college/departmental scholarships or University Honors College programs. Please contact the appropriate office for an application or additional information.
At the end of the application you will be asked to answer three short essay questions. We suggest that you first answer these questions in a Word document which you can paste into your application. If you experience any problems in completing the application, you will still have the answers to these questions. Your answers to these questions will be reviewed closely by the Scholarship Selection Committee:
- Describe a personal attribute or accomplishment that sets you apart from other applicants and makes you the best candidate to receive this award.
- Choose one: From a financial standpoint, what impact would these scholarships have on your education? – or – Describe any special personal or family circumstances that affect your need for financial assistance.
- Describe the five (5) activities (for example: academic, athletic, cultural, community related, occupational) in which you have participated and have made the biggest impact on your school or community. Include length of time and any leadership positions that you have held.
Upon successful submission of the application you will receive an email notification that the application was successful. If you do not receive this notification, your scholarship application was not successfully submitted.
You must submit a complete application for admission by the scholarship deadline to be considered for any scholarships.
You will not be able to submit an application after the posted deadline.
Because the scholarship process is competitive you, the prospective or current student, must complete the scholarship application yourself. Completion of the application by someone other than yourself (i.e. parent, sibling, friend, etc.) will result in the forfeiture of scholarship opportunities.
Applications will be sent to the Scholarship Selection Committee after the March 1 deadline. If you are selected as a recipient of a scholarship, you will be notified by a letter sent through the U.S. mail.
We recommend Chrome or Firefox as the web browser you use to complete the application.
